The Boycott your Bed entertainment live stream is back for 2021 – and it’s bigger than ever!
From 6pm to 10pm on Friday 9th July, our brilliant Boycott your Bed participants will enjoy a jam-packed evening of stories, games, challenges, music and much, much more. The night will be split into two halves: entertainment for the whole family followed by fun for the grown-ups. Hosted by famous faces from the world of TV and music, our on-the-night stream really will have something for everyone.
This year, a few lucky people will also be invited to join our celeb hosts live on screen.
Here’s a taste of what you can look forward to:
The Boycott your Bed games A series of four toilet roll-themed games (including ‘Boycott Bowling’ and the ‘Tremendous Tower’) for families to compete in at home. The idea is to get everyone active and their adrenaline pumping. We’ll ask families to send in snaps of their towers to be in with a chance of winning a prize.
Horrible Histories ‘Foul Facts’ with Jess Hynes
A fun, educational and slightly disgusting activity based on the Horrible Histories series of books. Children will be asked to answer a series of ‘true’ or ‘false’ questions using ‘horrible’ actions. For example, holding up their stinky foot if something is ‘true’.
Dance masterclass Are you ready to get moving? Strictly’s Giovanni Pernice and Luba Mushtuk, dancing extraordinaires will be hosting a dance masterclass during the first half of the evening. Time for the whole family to get involved, we can’t wait to see everyone’s dance moves!
Bedtime with The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Laura Hamilton We’ll ask families to create their very own The Very Hungry Caterpillar using objects from around the home. Children can then sit back, relax and listen to a Laura Hamilton read The Very Hungry Caterpillar bedtime story. This will hopefully help younger children chill out before bed!
For the grown-ups
After a short break, we’ll get stuck into the second part of the evening, starting around 8pm.
Our trivia game is back following its huge success in 2020. This quiz is full of fun and interesting questions that really put participants’ knowledge to the test.
A sit-back-and-enjoy segment that gives the audience a one-of-a-kind opportunity to watch an exclusive set performed by a contemporary musician.
What better way to round off Friday night than with some big tunes and even bigger dance moves?
